Jaylen Brown’s 7UICE

NBA star Jaylen Brown got started in fashion to connect with family members and friends. In the early days, he remembers they would report back that his jersey was either sold out or just not available.

So he began to design hoodies.

“I started my own brand [as a way] to make my friends, my family, people who supported me — to have some type of connective tissue,” Brown says.

Growing up in Atlanta, fashion was more than just clothing — it was self-expression. He remembers how much a person’s shoes could say about them, a lesson he carried forward when creating 7UICE, his own label. Through it, he’s built something that represents him beyond basketball.

“What gives me more bliss is that people show up to watch you play, but they also show up to support the person, the individual, the human being that you are,” Brown says. “So that just inspires me.”
